Dr Juanita was educated at Island School, Hong Kong before going on to London to study medicine at King's College Hospital, Medical School, University of London. She obtained a BSc in pharmacology in 1980 and MBBS in 1983.

Initial training was in London followed by 3 1/2 years at The Children's Hospital ( then Camperdown ).

She entered general practice in Epping in 1987 attaining her FRACGP in 1992.

Dr Juanita has a special interest in paediatrics, general and prevetative medicine, counselling , aged care and palliative care.
