After graduating from the University of Newcastle Medical School in 1992, Dr Lund completed two years of hospital service in the Newcastle area.

His third postgraduate year took him to far North Queensland where he enjoyed work in remote communities, anaesthetic experience and his first term in General Practice.

Having enjoyed his General Practice term above all else he elected to pursue this and completed his Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1997 after further experience in the Katoomba area and some exclusively paediatric and adolescent medicine in the Blacktown area.

Dr Lund with his wife Michelle moved to Port Macquarie at the end of 1997 where he has enjoyed the lifestyle ever since.

Getting away from work allows him to pursue his outside interests, the greatest of which is their new daughter Jasmin, closely followed by Romulus their Golden Retriever. Surfing, snowboarding, gardening and occasional cycling also rate a mention.
